I’m thrilled to have been appointed to the National Postsecondary Education Cooperative. As a member of NPEC, I will serve a three-year term.
I look forward to contributing to national conversations and the important work that the NPEC does to improve higher education and student success.
I provide accreditation and IPEDS support to colleges and universities through the Institute for Effectiveness in Higher Education. When working with higher education institutions, she frequently provides guidance on the use of student data — especially for external reporting purposes, such as accrediting bodies. She has contributed to the NPEC group previously, through an invited research paper on the IPEDS Human Resources Survey.
About the National Postsecondary Education Cooperative
The mission of National Postsecondary Education Cooperative (NPEC) is to promote the quality, comparability and utility of postsecondary data and information that support policy development at the federal, state, and institution levels. The NPEC IPEDS Research & Development Panel does this by developing a research and development agenda for IPEDS, identifying topics that will help improve the quality, comparability, and utility of IPEDS data for the postsecondary education community, consumers, and policymakers, as well as providing expertise to NCES on related IPEDS Research & Development projects.
